The first appointment will include a cleaning, a dental examination, and an opportunity to discuss any treatment recommendations with Dr. Morrison. The appointment allows us to better understand your oral health and any concerns you have about your teeth.
If you are recommended for treatment and are ready to proceed, we can start treatment immediately. In some instances, particularly if you have a dental concern or medical history, we may schedule a second appointment to determine the best course of care and make it as convenient as possible for you.
From Check-In to Check-Out, Here Is What to Expect With Dr. Morrison
Your first visit to Forney Family Dentistry & Orthodontics typically includes a cleaning, an examination, and a review of your treatment options. If you accept treatment, we can begin it immediately. However, a complex medical history or treatment plan may require further evaluation and a second appointment. We’ll make sure to accommodate your schedule.
To help your visit go as smoothly as possible, please come prepared with the following information:
- A list of any or all medications that you’re presently prescribed and taking
- Your dental insurance information
- Patient forms filled out
Having this prepared and ready for your appointment will save you time and ensure your first visit is the very best experience.
Once your exam is complete, Dr. Morrison will review the results and explain what we found. We will also review your treatment options if your exam revealed a need for treatment. Our goal is to ensure you feel comfortable and confident about your dental health.
