How Intraoral Camera Helps You Make Better Decisions About Your Care
We’ve found that sometimes it’s difficult for our patients to understand the condition of their teeth as Dr. Morrison does. One way we improve our patients’ dental experience is by using an intraoral camera during diagnosis.
An intraoral camera is a small, pen-like device with a camera at its tip. The camera features a bright LED that helps us diagnose cavities or fractures that are difficult to see with the naked eye. The camera is connected to a monitor, allowing you to see up close what Dr. Morrison sees. This procedure dramatically improves your dental experience by helping you understand why Dr. Morrison would recommend a certain treatment.
Our goal here at Forney Family Dentistry & Orthodontics is to make your experience as easy and effective as possible, which is why we use an intraoral camera in our diagnostic process. Patients have routinely expressed their appreciation of our intraoral camera. They get to see their teeth up close, including problems such as cracked teeth, decay, worn-out or defective fillings, bleeding gums, and tartar.
Here at Forney Family Dentistry & Orthodontics, we serve patients throughout Forney, TX, and the surrounding communities. We invite you to call one of our friendly staff members. You can call our office or email us with any questions. We look forward to serving you!
