Meet Restorative Dentist Lauren Lewellen
“I am most passionate about being able to educate and inform patients about dentistry and formulating a plan together of how we can achieve and maintain oral health and happiness. I love growing and serving through dentistry and feel blessed and gifted through our Lord to be able to provide this service. I feel through dentistry I am not only able to reach my community on a dental level but show God’s love, build relationships, and be a part of the community.” – Dr. Lauren Lewellen
Dr. Lauren Lewellen is dedicated to serving her patients by getting to know them (and their favorite flavor of toothpaste). She appreciates the opportunity she’s been given to communicate with her patients regarding their oral health and looks forward to helping all her patients attain an ideal level of health and happiness.
Education and continuing education
Dr. Lewellen graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Texas A&M University-College Station in 2009. She continued on to Baylor College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
One of the reasons Dr. Lewellen enjoys the field of dentistry is because of its continual growth and development. She is dedicated to providing the very best care for her patients. Through continued education, dental research, and learning, she is able to grow as a clinician to provide the highest quality and most current dental treatment.
As her education and skill set broaden, Dr. Lewellen is better able to educate her patients and provide treatment to improve the health and happiness of each smile!

Outside the office
Dr. Lewellen has an amazing and wonderful family and feels so blessed to have them so close. Her parents still live in Carrollton where she grew up — near enough to have them over for a home-cooked meal, friendly hug and encouragement, and occasional dog sitting.
Dr. Lewellen also has a sister in Galveston who graduated from UT Medical Branch and is pursuing her residency in anesthesiology, and two of the most vibrant and loving grandparents down in Georgetown. They are constantly teaching her and showing her God’s beauty and love through their life of service.
At home, Dr. Lewellen has a Silky Terrier/Teacup Yorkie mix who absolutely loves being a dental dog! He has been known to steal toothbrushes, toothpaste samples, floss, or anything else minty!
Dr. Lewellen was fortunate to travel abroad to Spain in college, and fell in love with European art, architecture, and lifestyle. From the elegance and beauty of Paris to the vibrant colors of Barcelona and its beautiful beaches, she loved it all and cannot wait to go back. Until her next adventure, she enjoys reading, playing tennis, baking, and serving her community through her church.
I met my husband when we were 12 years old on the tennis court. We got married in June 2015. God clearly intertwined our lives in a creative and distinctively way to direct our paths to each other and to grow our relationship toward him and towards each other.
