Alicia Alicia Hannon - Office Manager

Alicia Hannon is the office manager at Forney Family Dentistry. She has over 15 years of dental/medical experience and is an insurance specialist. With her vast knowledge of dental and medical allows her to help the patient know the connection between your oral health and overall systemic health. Your first visit to Forney Family Dentistry isn’t complete without Alicia reviewing your recommended treatment. At Forney Family Dentistry our mission is to educate our patients. You will be educated by the hygienist, assistant, the doctor, and last but not least by Alicia. You will be able to ask her treatment, scheduling, or financial questions in the privacy of our consultation room before you leave here. Alicia’s main objective is to insure you do not leave here with an unanswered question. She wants to make patients excited about their treatment and to help educate them on keeping their mouth healthy. Her favorite part of dentistry is how it is always evolving to make life easier for the patient, and she loves working for Forney Family Dentistry where the lastest technologies are introduced to provide the patient with the best overall care possible. Alicia is a native Texas and enjoys spending her time with her husband, children, and beautiful granddaughter.
 
Dee DeeDee Dee Evans - Lead Assistant

Dee Dee is lead dental assistant for Dr. Cozby. She has over 12 years experience in the dental field. She loves meeting patients and helping them feel at ease at every appointment. Her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the smiling faces of patients and the wonderful results of their treatment. Her extensive training and experience has allowed her to answer patients’ questions and to insure their experience is as comfortable as possible. She understands the dental office is not everyone’s favorite place, so she makes sure everyone has as much fun as possible during their visit. She loves when patients are so relaxed during a root canal they are laughing at their movie . “ Dee Dee was so sweet she held my hand the whole appointment while I was getting my tooth extracted, thank you Dee Dee for making me feel comfortable,” states patient Joan T. on a result survey. 		 
Brittany
Brittney Perez - Insurance Coordinator

Brittney Perez is our insurance coordinator and is also certified by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners for Dental Assisting. She has a big heart and is always concerned about the patients well being. With her insurance expertise she helps patients with their financial needs. She understands that the investment patients make in their health is important and wants to insure patients minimize their out-of pocket expense by maximizing their available insurance. She will assist patients with financial arrangements to help get patients back to a state of good oral health while making it affordable to the patient. Brittney goal is to help every patient understand their insurance plan and to take the burden off the patient by dealing with the insurance companies directly. She enjoys spending time with her husband Jason and their beautiful princess Payton. Brittney is involved with the Bilingual church of God in Quinlan, and enjoys attending the church activities. “I did not think I could afford to save my teeth. Brittney helped me to get all my work done and to find a payment plan I could afford (interest free). Thank you Brittney for taking the time to work with me,” states Steve in a recent survey. 		 
Dee Dee
Starla Hardman - Hygienist

Starla is a kind hearted person with a gentle hand that loves everyone. She sees her profession as an art, and enjoys the dynamics it brings. Every patient has different needs and goals for their oral health, and Starla wants to cater toeach one individually. She wants her patients to love their smile, but above all else have healthy teeth and gums. She stresses the importance of prevention. It is important to her to give patients the education necessary to prevent problems before they ever start. She uses an assortment of visual aids with patients of all ages to insure they are well educated to their specific needs. Patients always feel at ease during their visits and leaves with a new sense of understanding of their oral health. “ I actually went to sleep during my cleaning because I was so relaxed in the massage chair while Starla cleaned my teeth, thank you Starla,” stated patient John M. on a recent survey
Ruthie
Ruthie Mowell – Patient Coordinator

When you visit Forney Family Dentistry you will be greeted by Ruthie, our patient coordinator. She is friendly, energetic, and has a contagious smile that can’t help but brighten your day. Her goal is to make every patient feel welcome and at ease when they first walk in the door. She will help you with a cup of coffee, refreshments, or finding your favorite show on cable. She will help you with all your scheduling needs, insurance verification, and treatment questions. Jessica
Jessica Pressler – Hygienist

Jessica is a fun-loving spirited person that never wants a patient to leave here uneducated. She believes good oral health starts with proper education. Patients report to us constantly that they have never been so educated about home care at a dental office before. When patients know how they can prevent future problems, they are happier with their dental visits. She loves seeing patients of all ages and is a huge proponent of oral cancer screenings after knowing a personal friend who was diagnosed. Patients love to lean back and watch their favorite movie while Jessica gently cleans their teeth. “I have never had such a thorough and gentle cleaning,” states patient Patricia C. in a recent survey.
Cortney
Cortney – Dental Assistant

Cortney feels at home when she is working with patients. She believes everyone deserves a healthy smile that they love. She loves being involved in that process and being able to help patients get to the end result as comfortably as possible. She knows first hand how a smile can make you be more confident in yourself. She is a quick learner and never stops researching the newest advances in dentistry so she can help educate patients to the lastest treatment options. “ Cortney helped me through the whole appointment. Isabel
Isabel – Dental Assistant

Isabel has a passionate kind heart that was made for dentistry. She is compassionate with every patient and will take as much time as possible to help a patient feel at ease. She has extensive surgical background experience and is always willing to go the extra mile for a patient. Her spirit is contagious and will win over any scared child or anxious adult. “I was so nervous about getting my tooth pulled, Isabel told me everything to expect and held my hand literally through it all. She made the process painless and easy.” states Lisa on a recent survey.
Claudia
Claudia – Scheduling Coordinator

Claudia is a ray of sunshine in our office. She loves working with patients and helping them understand their recommended treatment. She understands how time can get away from you and you forget about the recommended treatment. She wants to offer a friendly reminder to every patient that their treatment is important to us. It is a priority to her to always get a patient in to get the infection out of their mouth and get them back to a state of health. “ Claudia called me the other day to remind me of a cavity I had on my last visit that I had not taken care of.
